Goodbye For Now

It has been an amazing 9 years getting to serve the dogs and owners of South West Calgary! I made some amazing friends (both furry, and not), and loved every minute of being a professional dog walker. Getting to work outside, and hang out with dogs all day became something I would look forward to each day, and even on the hard days, I wouldn’t have wanted to trade it for the world.

But sometimes life has other plans, and no matter how much you want to keep doing something, your priorities need to shift, and changes need to be made.

As of September 1, we have officially closed our doors and are no longer offering pet services. It wasn’t an easy choice, and I am so thankful for the support of all of our clients as we have transitioned  away.

Thankfully the pet industry is full of wonderful people who have agreed to help us with the transition and help our amazing clients and are working to help make sure every one of the almost 80 dogs that Pooched YYC actively walked.

If you need a dog walker, I highly reccomend the following companies:

So whats Next for Me?

For now, I had to get a “real” job, but in the future, I may start offering dog training services.

I don’t think it will ever be my primary income source, but more as a supplemental thing, and to get my daily source of vitamin D (Dog).

So stay tuned for that but for now….

Thank you all so much for the love and support over the years. It has meant the world to me and I have been so blessed to have gotten to know so many amazing people and dogs throughout my career.
